A Comparison between The Electromyogram of Gyrotonic Method and Barre lesson in Dancer

This research is the one that Juliu Horvath invents and developed in New York in 1982. The purpose is rehabilitation and performance improvements for the dancers. The characteristic is a circumference movement done by the machine which fixes. This research is the first in Japan. This experiment is the one that the electromyogram work was examined in this method. Testers are three persons who include special dancers. The result is summarized as follows; 1. As for a muscular activity part and the activity in Gyrotonic Method, a muscular activities of lower limbs were lower than the one of the barre lesson. 2. As for Gyrotonic method a lot of parts of the body bound to the level for the posture of turning up. The activity of the hip and the arm is lower then that of the barre lesson. Therefore, the upper half of the body can be relaxed. Moreover, the load of the waist is reduced. 3. Muscular work of two kinds of training almost was the same muscular activity in the same tester. 4. Gyrotonic Method is training by which the load is put. And, the muscular activity is different by the person. Therefore, it is the one to need a personal advice
