The University Library at San Jose State University (SJSU) began creating its collection of online tutorials in 2008. In the five years since then, the tutorials have gone from proprietary digital learning objects on the library website to an open online video collection available through YouTube and Vimeo. Creating open educational resources requires making decisions about accessibility, open licensing, and appropriate formats.
