Herd health supervision applied to high milk tank cell counts due to Streptococcus agalactiae infection

Four problem herds, totalling 143 cows, with persistent high milk cell counts were investigated. The standard mastitis prevention programme brought about some reduction in cell count, even though its application was incomplete.
