Necessity of obtaining ISO14001 certification at Nagaoka National College of Technology

The outline of ISO14001 and the present situation of the ISO14001 certified university were investigated and a questionnaire on the environmental issues and the obtaining ISO14001 was conducted to the stuff of Nagaoka National College of Technology (NNCT) to examine the necessity of obtaining ISO14001 certification at NNCT. The obtaining ISO14001 at technical college leads many merits other than the decrease of environmental burden. On the whole, the stuff of NNCT has a relatively high level of environmental consciousness and feels positive about obtaining ISO14001 certification
