This paper introduces one oral evaluation method used for Kanto Gakuin University\u27s College of Engineering\u27s compulsory English speaking program. The method focuses on both individual and pair-work evaluation. Preparation through a presentation of communication techniques,vocabulary building and the constructing of topic related questions coupled with timed practice through the course of study help the students to successfully attain the goal of sustaining a conversation on a topic presented in class in English for approximately five minutes
