The Statistical Investigation of the Dielectric Break Down (Part III) : The Study on the Effects of Electrode Structure by the level of significance

Using the electrodes of varied structure, Sphere to sphere, plate o plate, and needle to plate, I measure the dielectric break down strength by the same method with that of part II. And I study on the suitability of electrodes for the measure of the very small variation of break down strength.第二報に於て，薄板状絶縁物の場合，厚さの微小差が絶縁破壊値に及ぼす効果の程度を有意水準αをもって示し得る事即ちαが小さい事はその効果がよく表はれていて，大きい時は反対である事を知り得た。本報に於ては厚さの差が同じ場合電極構造によってαが異る事に着目して，各種電極構造即ち球対球，平板対平板，針対平板を用いて，厚さの差（中央値の差）を40/1000, 30/1000, 20/1000, 10/1000 mmの四種類の場合に就てαを求め各種電極の性質を比較検討した。更に又試料として第二報[2-1]に示した試料Aの外に試料B（厚さ0.8mmポリエチレン板）及び試料C（厚さ約1.5mmの塩化ビニール板）を用ひて同称の測定を行ひ，薄板状絶縁物に対する本報の結果の一般性を示す事に努めた
