On the rapid estimation method of phosphate ion by way of Bi-phosphate

The method consists of the following terms. -- I. Bi-phosphate is insoluble in dil. HNO_3, and is easily precipitated by adding Bi^-solution on the hot phosphate solution free from Cl-, S0_4--, etc. II. Bi-phosphate is readily decomposed by boiling with NaOH-solution of moderate concentration. III. The solution containing Na-phosphate and NaOH can he titrated with nitric acid using methyl-orange and phenol-phthalein as the indicators. The method was tried on the H_3PO_4-solution and the prepared solutions of several phosphorous rocks and super-phosphates of lime. The results of the former were fairly satisfactory, but those of the latter were not always so.BiPO_4を経由する燐酸の定量法は重量法と容量法とに大別される。重量法ではBiPO_4の沈澱を直接秤量する。この方法は沈澱が屡々塩基性塩を伴う為めに過大叉は不定の結果を与え，現行の燐モリブデン法が完成されてからは殆んど用いられない。次に容量法としてはHClO_4酸性溶液内でBiPO_4を生成させる沈澱容量諸法が報告されている。それ等では反応の終点をBiOI生成に依る赤変で知るか，叉は生起する最大溷濁点で検知するのである。BiPO_4の沈澱をアルカリ溶液で分解し，その燐酸分を中和滴定によって求める容量法に関しては文献が見当らない。筆者は(I)稀HNO_3酸性でBiPO_4の沈澱をつくり，(II)この沈搬をNaOH溶液で分解してその燐酸分を溶離させ，(III)との滞液に中和法を行って燐酸分の定量を試みた。この方法は諸繰作比較的簡易，且つ迅速である。本稿では之について報告する
