En esta Tesis se realizaron experimentos originales dirigidos a responder preguntas pendientes en el área de la fundamentación de la mecánica cuántica. En particular, se presenta el primer estudio experimental de teorías realistas locales no ergódicas que aprovechan el coincidence-loophole y/o efectos de memoria. En los tests realizados se estudiaron los distintos mecanismos que permiten generar una coincidencia, en los que se sustentan estas teorías para reproducir, a través de mecanismos clásicos, las predicciones de la mecánica cuántica.
