2015-04-16This study was designed to examine the use of evidence‐based instructional content and methods of a Brazilian Jiu‐Jitsu program versus a traditional instructional content and methods program, and the degree to which, do learning transfer, motivation, self‐efficacy and mastery goal orientation outcomes change within the intervention group. The sample size consisted of 39 middle school boys and girls with no practical prior knowledge of Brazilian Jiu‐Jitsu techniques.
