Growing up the Disney Channel way

This thesis also looks to better understand the reasoning behind choices made for programming, including casting, themes and writing styles. It will offer various suggestions to help further propel The Disney Channel into a new decade, including focusing on the diverse demographics the network has. From a public relations standpoint, Disney has quite a bit to do to be seen as a more inclusive network when dealing with ethnic diversity of the country. The proposed tactics will focus on reestablishing the wholesome image the company has, while also reinforcing a sense of family togetherness
