Pan American World Airways. Dr. Edward Teller, father of the H-bomb and nuclear scientist, accompanied by his wife Augusta, arrived tonight (6/27) at Los Angeles International Airport from Honolulu via Pan American Airways after two weeks in the Pacific where he allegedly viewed the series of nuclear tests which took place near Eniwetok, however he would not disclose the nature of his trip beyond Honolulu. He said, 'I don't know what I can and cannot say except that my wife and I had a nice vacation in Honolulu.' Dr. Teller, who believes that good will come from the nuclear tests which is opposite of Dr. Linus Pauling, the Cal-Tech scientist, said he and his wife will stay overnight in Los Angeles and Saturday (6/28) will fly to San Diego to visit friends for a few days before returning home to Berkeley, Calif., where he is director of the University of California's Aviation Labratory [sic] in Livermore"
