Missionær Ulla Christiansen. Udsendt af DMS til Taiwan, 1972-89. Ulla C. blev efter læreruddannelse indviet til diakonisse på Sankt Lukas Stiftelsen i Hellerup, 1967.- Efter kinesiske sprogstudier i Taiwan blev hun først ansat ved et kristent studentercenter i Taichung og herefter ved Studentercentret i Tainan. Senere arbejdede Ulla C. på kirkekontoret i Taipei som sekretær for Præsidenten i TLC. - I 1992-93 flyttede hun til Los Angeles som associeret missionær og udviklingskoordinator i organisationen Kairos (med radiomission til Kina). Tilbage i Danmark blev Ulla C. efter nogle års teologiske studier ordineret og fungerede som præst ved Sankt Lukas Stiftelsens kirke og hospice indtil sin død i 1999.

After finishing teacher's training she was consecrated as deaconess at the St. Luke Foundation, Hellerup, 1967. - Following Chinese language studies at Taiwan, she worked at Student Centers, first in Taichung and from 1977 in Tainan. Later she moved to the Church Office at Taipei as secretary for the President of TLC. In 1992-93 Ulla C. moved to Los Angeles as accociated missionary and development coordinator of the organisation Kairos (with broadcasting mission to China).- Back in Denmark and years with theological studies, Ulla C. was ordined, and until her death in 1999 she served as pastor at the St. Luke Church and Hospice
