Narainpur Pigekostskole, grundlagt i 1924 af missionær Signe Kampp. Fra 1951 blev missionær Ellen Laursen leder, og det blev hende, der kom til at udbygge og præge skolen, som 1960 også fik gymnasium. Skolen havde i en årrække 6-700 elever. Ellen Laursen fik bl.a. opført nye skolebygninger og boliger til elever/ansatte. Og hun tog initiativ til opførelse af en ny kirke, der blev indviet i 1971. Skolen blev Ellen Laursens livsværk, som hun fulgte helt frem til sin død i 1982.
