Grahame Bailey (1872-1942), ordained and assigned to Wazirabad 1895, is standing on the far right in the front row. The mission in Wazirabad was established with the arrival of Mohammed Ismail (-1873) who took over the government school in 1863. The town of Wazirabad was founded in 1636 by Shah Jahan (1592-1658) on the banks of the Chenab River and is 45 kilometres west of Sialkot. The Church of Scotland Mission maintained an Anglo-vernacular school in Wazirabad, which taught both Muslim and Hindu boys. It is possible that this photograph is depicting this group
