Vatovory's workshop of the Société des missions évangéliques de Paris (Paris evangelical missionary society) in Ambositra. First year scholars work at their bench. On the left, we can see the foreman of the workshop. When they go to school, each pupil receive a set of tools for which he is responsible. These tools belong to them if they are successful at their exams. On the background, there is the gaz and the motor which make the machines work
