"An ordination group in Hunan" Group comprises of the two ordinands - Mr. Lai Land-Sheng and Mr. Chang Mou-sheng, Rev. J Webster, Rev. W.W. Gibson (Chairman of the District) and the Rev. Wang Tse-an (superintendent of the Changsha circuit).; Caption from The Kingdom Overseas reads "The accompanying photograph is an interesting memento of an Ordination Service, recently held in Changsha, the headquarters of our mission in Hunan Province. The service was solemn and impressive, and the large congregation listened intently to the testimonies of the two ordinands - Mr. Lai Land-Sheng and Mr. Chang Mou-sheng. Mr. Chang told how the late W.H. Pillow helped him to decide upon his life work in the Christian ministry. The ordination charge was given by the Rev. J Webster, who also, together with the Rev. W.W. Gibson (Chairman of the District) and the Rev. Wang Tse-an (superintendent of the Changsha circuit), took part in the laying on off hands.
