Andohalo Hospital, Andohalo, Antananarivo, Madagascar, ca.1898

"Det norske hospital i Tananarive" ( "The Norwegian Hospital in Tananarive").; To the left you can see a little of the Anglican Church. The house behind the palms to the right was the doctor's residence. When the hospital was moved to Antsirabe, Andohalo was used for the Norwegian Missionary Society's printing press from 1904 to 1951. After this Andohalo became a dormitory for Ecole Paul Minault. The house later collapsed in a heavy storm. Today [2003] SALFA has its headquarters here in a new four story building. See A241-274 and A13-600
