"Eröffnung der Kirche in Veepleas. Br[uder] Vogt spricht." ("Opening of the church in Veepleas. Br[other] Vogt is talking."). The church door is decorated with a wreath. Above it is a sign on the wall. In front of the door four missionaries are lined up, due to the blurred picture it is difficult to say whether all are of European origin. Brother Vogt is on the left. The parishioners are standing before them, mostly men. They are wearing suits, most of them dark suits. Some women with hats are standing in the front. Only two people are looking at the photographer directly.; The picture is blurred. -- This picture was taken by Willibald Paul Schaberg (1900-?). He worked as a missionary in South Africa West, mostly in Elim. He married Elfriede Henriette Johanna Nigrin (born 1898) in Herrnhut near Dresden, Germany, in 1929. It is not known when and where he stopped working and died
