Rows of wooden benches to its left and right and in front of it. Candelabras hang from the ceiling. In front of the lectern sit two men of European origin. Written on the card board: "Br. Baudert 1930." ("Br[other] Baudert 1930.").; Cf. photo no. 7083. Photo no. 7083 shows the church from outside. -- The picture probably shows Karl Theodor Weber (1886-1962) and Richard Johannes Marx (1866-1958). Marx was a missionary in South Africa East and West from 1893 to 1934. Weber was a missionary in Pella from 1938 to 1956. -- The picture was probably taken by Samuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa. He was the mission director of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop. It might also be possible that the picture was taken by Eugen Theodor Baudert (1876-1953) who worked as a lecturer at the theological seminar in Mvenyane
