Path in red is 'our alley' or the road leading down from our hill to the town.No. 3 The rectory and mission compound, which includes a school and several houses where the poor in the care of the mission are housed. This looks small in the picture, but takes up most of one square block. This I believe is a military road leading to the Yellow Sea.No. 12 A pretty pine grove on a hillside -- one of our favorite walks is around this section where many of the Japanese and Korean officials live. We call it 'Millionaires Row.'No. 13 A little 'spy tower' from which our next-door neighbor, the Protestant minister, is able to watch his apple orchards and farm. Such towers are very common sights here.No. 14 The Protestant church and mission compound, directly opposite us, but at the foot of our hill.I am sorry the pagan shrine is not visable. It is just up the hill from No. 11.
