This is a photograph of Fr. McDermott with two boys who are twins, climbing a tree. The boy in the Father's hand "Went to Heaven on Pentacost Eve."; Rev. McDermott was born in Worcester, MA. He entered Maryknoll in 1920 and was ordained in 1927. He was assigned to Kongmoon, South China that year, where he remained until 1937, whereupon he returned to the U.S
