Photograph of three unidentified Indian baskets on display, ca.1900. Two of them, shaped like oblong jars with short necks and small mouths, sit on a blanket with a zig-zag and striped pattern, in front of a blanket with narrow horizontal stripes. The third, shaped like a shallow platter, hangs from the backdrop. The woven designs are all different including zigzags, human and animal figures, triangles, etc. Image 35
