Photograph of a timetable of the Los Angeles Division of the Southern Pacific issued July 26, 1875, one year before the first railroad connection was made between Los Angeles and San Francisco, [s.d.]. Train operation is described from Los Angeles to Wilmington, Anaheim, Colton and San Fernando. Connections are shown as made at the latter station with stage coaches for the ride over Tehachapi mountains to Caliente where passengers again may take the train, reaching San Francisco after a rail and stage journey of 33 hours
