The man is seated on a stone wall at center and is shown full length with his legs crossed in front of him and his hands in his lap. He is facing straight ahead. He is wearing a small dark jacket, dark pants, and a light shirt. He has long dark hair that reaches nearly to his waist. In addition to the rocks on which he is sitting, there are more rocks behind him on a hill, and an adobe wall is visible at right. There is a wooden building on a stone foundation up the hill to the left. Photoprint reads: "Early method of hair dress(?)"
