The four-story building features cant windows, vine-covered arcade walkway, and a square tower. The entrance is covered with an extended awning that extends from the door to the sidewalk on the street -- about 30 feet. The walls of the first floor are covered in vines. Horse-drawn carriages are parked in front of the building on the dirt road. Picture file card reads: "was considered one of the most luxurious and stately hotels on the west coast.
