Abstract

Photograph of an exterior view of Sisters' Hospital (actually the first Los Angeles County Hospital), 1416 Naud Street (between Ann Street and Sotello Street), operated by the Sisters of Charity. It was built in 1858. The small 3-story building has a covered front porch, a fire escape leading from one of 8 dormer windows to the roof of the porch, a detached garage behind, and a picket fence in front along the sidewalk. An automobile is parked beside the garage. Another automobile is parked in one of the garage stalls
