Two lavishly decorated brick towers extend from the main building to either side of its entrance. Molding surrounds each of the towers' tall, double-paned windows, with small balconies extending beneath the second-story of each. The surrounding area is unpaved with a slim patch of overgrown grass lining the front of the depot. Text written-in along the bottom of the image reads "Old Santa Monica Depot"
