Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shear bond strength between machined titanium and composite resin using different surface treatments. Materials and Methods: Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) specimens were ground with 600 grit SiC paper and randomly divided into 6 groups (n=20/group). Group #1 (Control): samples were sandblasted with 110 µm Al2O3 for 10 sec. Group #2 (Rocatec): samples were treated with the Rocatec system following the manufacturer\u27s directions but the silanization step was eliminated. Group #3 (Silano Pen): samples were treated with the Silano Pen system.
