This paper proposes an improved cross-lingualspeaker adaptation technique with considering the differencesbetween language-dependent average voices in a Speech-to-Speech Translation system. A state mapping based method hadbeen introduced for cross-lingual speaker adaptation in HMMbasedspeech synthesis.
