Izhodišča. Dvodimenzionalna ultrasonografija je še vedno najpogostejša angiosonografska preiskava v obravnavi možganskožilnih bolezni. Tridimenzionalna ultrasonografija pa pomeni pomembno nadgradnjo in odpira nove diagnostične možnosti. V prispevku avtor predstavlja in primerja obe metodi. Zaključki. Tridimenzionalna ultrasonografija je pomembna ultrazvočna preiskava, ki odpira nove možnosti v diagnostiki možganskožilnih bolezni.
