V projektni nalogi smo predstavili lastnosti in uporabo lesa ter ojačitveni material s poudarkom na pletenicah iz ogljikovih vlaken hkrati z možnostjo njune skupne uporabe z različnimi vezivnimi sredstvi. Pri eksperimentu smo obravnavali armiranje lepljenih lamelnih lesenih nosilcev s kontinuiranimi ogljikovimi vlakni in vpliv armiranja na nosilnost in mehanske lastnosti nosilca. Testiranje preizkušancev smo opravili s tri-točkovnim upogibnim preizkusom. Na podlagi rezultatov smo ugotovili, da se mehanske sposobnosti armiranih preizkušancev povečajo.
