V magistrskem delu je predstavljen vektorski analizator elektronskih vezij (ang. vector network analyzer oz. VNA). Opisane so vrste, lastnosti in zmogljivosti modernih analizatorjev elektronskih vezij. Glavni cilj dela je bila izdelava nizkocenovnega VNA, ki bi bil primeren za uporabo v laboratoriju, in bi omogočal merjenje sipalnih parametrov, s katerimi opišemo lastnosti linearnih elektronskih vezij in gradnikov. Delovno frekvenčno področje instrumenta znaša od 100MHz do 1GHz. Zasnovali smo ga v obliki periferne naprave na univerzalnem serijskem vodilu, ki se jo krmili s pomočjo ustreznega grafičnega vmesnika na osebnem računalniku.
