Raziskava vključuje teoretične osnove različnih zasnov absorpcijskih hladilnih naprav, primerjavo učinkovitosti (COP) absorpcijskih hladilnih naprav oziroma, delovnih snovi: NH3/H2O, NH3/LiNO3, NH3/NaSCN, CH3NH2/H2O, R22/DMEU, R32/DMEU, R124/DMEU, R152a/DMEU, R125/DMEU, R134a/DMEU, TFE/TEGDME, CH3OH/TEGDME in R134a/DMAC, ki se uporabljajo za hlajenje pod 0 oC, ter simulacijo vpliva obratovalnih parametrov na učinkovitost obratovanja enostopenjske absorpcijske hladilne naprave NH3/H2O z računalniškim programom Aspen Plus.
