A Supply Chain Inventory-Replenishment Policy for Multiple Demand Patterns

[[abstract]]This paper aims to establish an adaptive supply chain inventory-replenishment policy to satisfy multiple demand distributions each with different customer service level. In the paper, three different demand distributions: normal, uniform, and exponential with corresponding service level are used to represent distinct customers and the supply policy of the supply company. The adaptive inventory-replenishment decision would be selected from one of the three inventory policies, (s,S), (s,Q), and (R,S), by comparing the total generated inventory cost of each policy. The numerical simulation shows that (R,S) is the most adaptive supply chain inventory-replenishment policy based on minimizing the total inventory cost. Whereas, the (s,Q) inventory policy results in the highest total inventory cost in the supply chain environment of multiple demand patterns
