Implementing a Laboratory Management System by integrating RFID with a Database – a Case Study in a Local High School

[[abstract]]ABSTRACT Laboratory management for many of the country's high schools is an important issue. The sole purpose to establish a laboratory is to let students have more resources to contact science, and thus make students interested in science, However, experimental education cannot be implemented for many schools due to security considerations so that students cannot use the lab resources To enable students and teachers in science education more efficient in the use of laboratory resources, we must increase the willingness of teachers to use laboratory resources. By the above comprehensive view, the researchers hope to combine the use of RFID library systems to build a complete laboratory management system to solve problems currently faced. Traditionally, laboratory management approach is to use the paper registration details, and causes a lot of the burden for the lab manager in this way, not only resulting in paper waste, but also increasing the circulation process time, and reducing the willingness of teachers to use laboratory resources. Therefore, the system, in addition to helping managers immediately grasp the flow of the experimental apparatus to reduce the burden of managers, also allow teachers through Google Sites to understand the instant inventory of experimental apparatus, and increase teachers' willingness to use. Therefore, this allows experiments room instruments to maximize performance, and accelerate the target of the experimental teaching implemented with the science education.
