Implementing a Piano Parts Inventory Control Management System Using RFID

To cope with different needs of customers, the supplier of piano parts and tuning tools must seek the resources of products from Japan and other places. However, piano parts are small and various, in inventory management issues , it could face some problems, such as the labeling not detailed or products misplaced; in addition, accounting by manual paperwork or a simple computer program wastes more time and is difficult to trace the trends of products. The service and business of the supplier cannot expand and becomes uneconomical. Therefore, implementing inventory control management system is the solution, and RFID technology is used to provide more advantages. Data reading and writing through RFID is more efficient and precise than manual paperworks, so it can make things simple, with minimum manpower, time, and cost to obtain immediate information of products. It will not only increase the efficiency of inventory management, reduce errors and avoid delays in business opportunities, but also improve service quality and business competitiveness
