[[abstract]]Background and Purpose: Smoking kills an average of 5.4 million people each year worldwide. On an average, one person dies from smoking every six seconds. The life expectancy of tobacco products’ users is shortened by approximately 15 years. We investigated whether the community pharmacy model can facilitate successful smoking cessation and the factors affecting smoking recidivism in people. Methodology: Data from the questionnaire database of the 2011 Taichung City Community Pharmacy Smoking Cessation Counseling Service Station Program was analyzed.
