The Exploring Study of Cervical Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Process from the Strength Perspectives

[[abstract]]Abstract Spinal cord injury will not only cause severe physiological function and many other complications, will also ensure that families must bear the burden of care and economic pressures. We invite 10 people, one of these people who got the most serious injury of cervical spinal cord injury, to participate in the studies. We interviewed them with the method of semi-structured in-depth to collect data to analyze how participants face themselves, their family, the pressure from the social environment from the incident and the process of rehabilitation. We analyze the participants from personal feelings, motivation, cautious thinking ability, techniques, supports and opportunities from the society, such as a home network, significant others, voluntary organizations, community groups and public sector strengths resources, in a Strength Perspective way. Summarized as ; (A) The individual personality traits, underlying belief, expertise or abilities.(B) The resources of the external social support.(C) The interactions of point A and B, adaptation strategies for break-through environmental obstacles strengths.
