A Study of the Relationships Between High School Training Satisfaction and Intention to Enter Higher EducationYunlin Physical Education Class

[[abstract]]Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference and relationship of student-athlete training satisfaction and intention to enter higher education of senior high schools in Yulin County. The subjects of study were student-athletes studying in Yulin Senior high school who enrolled during 2011-2013 school year. A survey entitled as “Measurement of Senior High School Student-athlete Training Satisfaction and Intention to enter Higher Education” was conducted to 260 student-athletes while 244 were validated responses corresponding with a 94% return rate. The collected data were then computed by descriptive analysis, one-way multivariate analysis of variance, independent t-test, Scheffe post hoc and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. After the analysis, the results of study shows: 1. There is significant difference on training satisfaction upon difference schools, items, and whether or not studying in Junior high school athletic program. 2. There is significant difference on intention to enter higher education upon difference schools, items, and whether or not studying in Junior high school athletic program. 3. There is positive correlation between training satisfaction and intention to enter higher education
