Study of students’ level of satisfaction toward Lantern Festival activities

[[abstract]]This study discussed the students’ levels of satisfaction toward Lantern Festival activities and the differences among research variables. 130 questionnaires were distributed, 107 valid questionnaires were collected, which was contributed an 82.3% of return rate. In this study, a five-point Likert scales was used to measure levels of satisfaction, which included variables of overall activity, quality of service, media advertisement, and internal services. The results are as follows: (1) A positive impact on level of satisfaction participating in the Lantern Festival toward variables of light exhibition design, richness of the activities planning, nearby transportation and route planning, and the effectiveness of advertisement promotion. (2) A positive significant correlation was found in variables of overall activity, quality of service, media advertisement and internal services. Among all, variables of quality of service and media advertisement had the highest correlation. (3) In the category of overall activity in measuring the level of satisfaction, a higher level of significance was found in the group of students who made a special trip to the Lantern Festival than those who weren’t. In the same category, a higher level of significance was found in the group of students who went by themselves than those who took the public transportation. In the category of internal services, a higher level of significance was found in the group of students who went by themselves then those who took the public transportation
