[[abstract]]Recently female workforces have become a significant part in work field. However, many women have successfully promoted to the higher and senior positions in some businesses, they still encounter a lot of ifficulties in their career development. They often find it hard to achieve a balance between job requirements and family responsibilities. This study mainly explored the effects of four different variables on women's career development in the hotel industry. The four variables are women's personality traits, gender bias, workplace resources and family support. This study adopted qualitative research method.
