[[abstract]]In recent years, junior high schools have been introducing total quality management (TQM) to improve the quality of education in the hope of elevating school performance as a whole. While Different organizational cultures respond to TQM differently, teachers’ job satisfaction is also considered as an important factor that will influence teaching quality. By adopting widely-accepted criteria of TQM implementation as the measures of organizational effectiveness, this research is aming to explore the effects of organizational cultures and job satisfaction might have on the school performance.
