[[abstract]]This study focuses on the mutual relationship of elderly health care utilization and purchase of commercial insurance. Investigate the impact of demographic, health status and medical care utilization on purchasing of commercial insurance. This study used secondary data analysis to analyze the data from "over the age of 65 personal questionnaire" section in the "2005 National Health Interview Survey and Drug Abuse" which published by National Institutes of Health completed in 2005.
