[[abstract]]The purpose of this study is to explore the falls and their related factors for elderly in Taiwan. The study subjects were elder people aged 65 and above, the total number was 1599 and congnitive disability elder was 243. This study was cross-sectional design, and used the secondary data from 2005 Survey of Social Development Trends-Health and Security which was conducted by Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics Executive Yuan, R.O.C. Study variables included personal characteristics, psychological status, physical condition, environment and falls.
