[[abstract]]The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting electronic medical records in hospitals in Taiwan. The questionnaire were mailed to information departments of 112 hospitals ,total number of respondents were 54 response rate is 48%, and face-to-face in-depth interview was given 10 electronic medical records directors .To understand the concept of electronic medical records, and development problem of electronic medical records system.
