This paper describes how the RFID smart refrigerator could be utilized to collect elder?s long term diet habits as reference for doctor?s continuous and long-term diagnosis. The refrigerator installed a PDA with RFID CF card reader onto the inside of the refrigerator. Once the tag-attached foods were removed out of the refrigerator?tag ID of the correspondent food would be read by the reader and instantly transmitted to the access point?by the Wi-Fi communication technique?linking to the internet and stored into the database of a server. With the help of recording the long-term and delicate changing of diet habit?we can possibly reach the goal of early detection?early prevention?early treatment for better quality of health life by finding the correlation between nutrition and disease through the analysis of diet habit.
