[[abstract]]In view of the scarcity of teachers supervising preference studies in Taiwan, this research was conducted among a sample of private kindergarten teachers working at different schools in Taichung City in Taiwan. A quantitative method was used to collect data for this study. The objectives of the study were to find the demographic profile of the working experience of these teachers, the information regarding supervising preference—directive control, indirective-information, nondirective interpersonal,or collaborative interpersonal supervisory style—on curriculum design, on purchasing new workbooks or material, on how to communicate with parents and creating proper learning climate, and on pedagogical strategies.
