Improving the Training of Specialists in Political Economy

From May 22 to 25, 1973, the Economics Faculty of the Moscow M. V. Lomonosov State University conducted the All-Union Scientific Conference "Methodological Problems in Improving the Training of Political Economy Instructors in the Light of the Decisions of the Twenty-Fourth Congress of the CPSU." Among the more than 500 persons participating in the conference were heads of departments and leading professors from all universities of the Soviet Union that have economics departments; from the nation's economics higher educational institutions that train specialists in political economy; science personnel of the Institute of Economics of the USSR Academy of Sciences and institutes of economics of the union republics; and representatives of ministries of higher and secondary specialized education. Thirty-two representatives from eight socialist countries took part in the work of the conference. Heard at the conference were 5 papers [>u>doklady>/u>], 16 reports [>u>soobshcheniia>/u>], and 22 statements [>u>vystupleniia>/u>].
