The Distribution of Agricultural Enterprises and Increased Specialization of Agriculture

In our country, the development of agriculture is on a planned basis that takes into account the growing demand of the national economy for agricultural products and the changes in distribution of the urban and rural populations throughout the nation, as well as changes in the development and location of industries processing agricultural raw materials, of transport, and of communications. It also takes into consideration economic relationships and the division of labor among countries in the socialist commonwealth, economically substantiated exports to developing countries and to certain capitalist countries, and expedient imports of a number of agricultural products from these countries.
