Problems of the Structure of Industrial Production in the USSR

The problem of the structure of industrial production is one of the most important in economics. The study of structure and its variations in the preceding period, and analysis of progressive tendencies in the development of industrial production on the basis of the latest achievements of science and engineering make possible a correct determination of the most rational courses of development of industry in the future, in accordance with the demands of the law of planned, proportional development of the national economy, and in the interests of achievement of the maximum productive effect with given resources of labor power and material means.
